Empyrium

Before knowing Empyrium I was all into My Dying Bride.
Empyrium is one of the best doom metal bands ever. To bad they disbanded. According to Wikipedia they were a German symphonic folk/doom metal and (later) neofolk/dark folk band. (never heard of that genre before )

Very nice, I'm liking these guys. I don't know why some bands fuss to call themselves genres with 99 different words but what the heck, great band.

In my ears it sounds mainly doom, so I don't care about the other genres they list on Wikipedia.
I must say that all their albums are very good. Best time to play this is at night without lights and some black label on the rocks!! Joygasm!!!
